Do you need a glove for the upcoming season?  Benson Little League received a tremendous donation of brand new kids gloves from Decker Sports for the 2023 season.  Please let us know if you would like a glove for your player!

Benson Little League accepts donations of new or gently used kids baseball gloves, bats and other miscellaneous equipment!  Please reach out to us at [email protected] if you have items to donate to the league.  Thank you for your generosity!

Equipment Needed
It is recommended for players to have a baseball glove; they are also welcome to bring their bats, protective head gear & cleats.  Sunscreen/uniform hat and water bottles encouraged at each practice and game.  Benson Little League has extra gloves, bats, catcher's gear, helmets and other safety equipment for players to use during practices and games; coaches will be have access to all gear necessary for safe & fun play.  

Once registration is closed and teams are formed, Coaches will reach out with a practice schedule and the season game schedule will be announced.  Benson Little League will play against our home teams at the Benson Little League fields as well as at other metro area fields.  All practices will be held at Benson Little League.  Benson Little League partners with Hillside Little League for all Farm, Minor & Softball game schedules.  If we are unable to obtain a full team in any age group, Benson Little League will partner with Hillside Little League to create a full team. Tee Ball is a 12-week program that runs mid-April through end of June.  Farm, Minor & Softball Teams will have approximately 16 games and practices will start at the beginning of April. There are no games scheduled Memorial Day weekend.  Teams are provided with a uniform shirt and a hat.

Example Schedule: 

• Weekdays
  • Games or practices start at 6:00pm 
• Saturdays
  • Games scheduled 10:00am til 2 PM (when playing metro area opponents, game times will vary)
• Sundays
  • Games start beginning at 12:00pm

Important dates:
-Registration closes March 1st, all registrations after this date are subject to a late fee
-No games or practices scheduled for Memorial Day weekend
-End of Season Picnic, to be announced
-Sandlot Fun Days, to be announced
